Tucson's Official Troubadour

Ted’s performances celebrate homeland and culture with story and song illuminating the positive cultural contributions of the Indigenous, Mexican, Spanish and American cultures of the Southwest. Performances are designed for all ages to enjoy.
Ted is an “Arizona Culture Keeper” award winner, and a recipient of many regional culture preservation awards. He was named “Tucson’s Official Troubadour” in 2001, is also the Artist in Residence at the Tubac Presidio Histroric Park, and the founder of the celebrated “Santa Cruz River Band.
Ted presents a mixture of original music, classic Mexican and American folk songs framed with traditional Southwest storytelling and history.
Ted’s solo show is perfectly suited for: Artist Concert Series, Education Programs - Residencies and Workshops, Art and Cultural Events, Folk Festivals, Theaters, Radio and Television programs.

Janet Tifft - Painter

Janet Tifft is a second generation native Arizonan. She was born October 26, 1932 and raised in Douglas, Arizona. She received a B. A. in Art Education at Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ in 1956, and a Master of Art Education at the University of Arizona in 1966.
A "signature" member of the SAWG (Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild) for almost 30 years, she has taken many workshops offered by the Guild and has been exhibited regularly in their juried membership shows.
She is an associate member and retired instructor at The Drawing Studio, and regularly exhibits in member shows. She considers this association a vital and energizing link to the "practice of art" .
Her favorite subject matter exists in the shapes, colors, patterns, lines, and forms of nature in general, and the desert landscape in particular. Her favorite medium is transparent watercolor.

Angela Soto - Filmmaker
Independent filmmaker, Angela Soto is from Tucson, Arizona.
She has a dozen films to her credit that have been in film festivals
around the country including a full length movie called Mia’s Journal
that showed at the 2006 LGBT Wingspan Film Festival. She is currently
working on a script called Green Corn Tamales.

"I love telling stories through film," she recently remarked, "and who doesn't have a good story to tell?"
