Ted began his solo career at a very young age in Tucson, Arizona. He is the founder and creator of the celebrated musical group the Santa Cruz River Band. 

For last ten years Ted concentrated his efforts on recording and touring nationally and internationally with the Santa Cruz River Band and  establish the band as a top national and international folk music concert band.

Ted is currently presenting solo performances entitled "An Evening With Teodoro "Ted" Ramirez" - A Southwestern Experience"

Ted's concerts  entertain, educate and illuminate the beauty and power of the American Southwest  presenting authentic Mexican, American folk music, history, and culture.

Ted's program is specifically suited for Residency Programs, Workshops, Cultural Exchange Programs, Schools, Artist Concert Series, Festivals, Coffeehouses and House Concerts.

Ted is pleased to be able to present his program in  English, Spanish or bilingually.
 
A new solo album is currently being recorded and will be available in November 2010.
